I've always loved animals, especially pictures animals when they are in nature or when they're in professional studios. Some are fun and colorful while others are calmer and display more reserved colors and shades. If I'm being honest, any picture of an animal with decent lighting, composition and focus could easily become my favorite. But, here are a few of my favorites so far.

1. The Monkey Photographer: I think it's funny how ironic the picture is. Usually people are the ones handling the camera but the way the monkey is looking seriously at the display on the camera and is actually holding it properly from using the grip to the camera strap arount it's neck makes it seem like he or she is the actual photographer. And, the actual elements that make up the picture are really cool too because the main focus point's color is a dull brown (the monkey and the rock) and black (the camera) but the green, blurred out background makes the photo pop and slightly more asthetically stimulating than if it were a boring background.

2. The Curious Meercat: I love this picture because first of all, the camera is amazing and second of all I love how the meercat is just sitting on top of it like the camera is it's home. It really shows how quickly these animals adapt to new people and new things and how fearless they can be.

3.The Cat Eye: I love how detailed and in focus this picture is. It's so in focus to the point where you can see all of it's individual whiskers and even the curve of the cat's eyeball. I also like how the black background really emphasizes the silhouette of the cat's face and also helps the white whiskers stand out.

4. 101 Dalmations: I really love how everything is in black and white except for the dog's eye, which is a hazel-y brown because it makes his or her eye stand out and draws your eyes to it to make it the main focus point of the photograph. I also think the lighting of the background is cool because it makes it more of a gray so the dog's ear won't blend in.

5. Cheetah Girls: I really like how the cheetahs are in focus, making them the main focal point and how the background is blurry but still adds to the mood of the picture. I feel that all of the soft colors in the background really compliment the color of the cheetahs. I also love how even though it's an action shot, all three cheetahs are captured perfectly with no blur, like they're frozen in time. Overall, I think it's a beautiful, bright and colorful shot.
In the pictures above, I love how colorful the nature photographs are and how the ones in a studio, at least in the one's that I have selected are much darker, very detailed and more dramatic. The ones in nature tell more of a story and are very playful while the photos taken professionally give off more of a serious vibe. But more than anything, they all amke really good photos.
