5 Things I'm Afraid Of (but would photograph)

#1: Heights

I've always been afraid of heights, ever since I was younger. Always had a fear of plunging to my death if I ever went over 10 feet into the air. But, I think I would overcome that fear (if I were strapped to a harness) and go ontop of a really tall building and take a picture of what was below me. Maybe go ontop of a bulding in New York and take a birds eye view of the street life below like the buildings and the taxis and the people. That would make for a really interesting photo.

#2: Snakes

Snakes are most definitely on my top 5 list of things I'm afraid of. You never know if they're poisonous or not or if they're a rattlesnake, (I know you can tell by the tail but that would require you getting close to it which, no). But after looking at some snake photography, they make a really cool subject for pictures. They can twist into so many different shapes and they're scales can reflect of of light. And, if they're scales have different flecks of color in them, it's even better.

#3: Lions

Lions themselves don't scare me as much as the knowlege that they can kill you in less than a minute does. But, they are beautiful, majestic creatures, who can be peaceful if you don't bother them. I would be scared to get close to them becuase I wouldn't want to aggravate it, but I think observing them from a distance won't do any harm. Just capturing they're lifestyle or how they interact with other lions and animals can be really cool. Especially in the daytime because it's when the lions are most active and the light catches the gold in they're manes with the green grass in the backround. It would create an amazing picture.

#4: Bees

Bees can't really kill you unless you're allergic. But I wouldn't know because I've never been stung by one (knock on wood), and I really wouldn't want to find out now. Especially since I have the pain tolerance of a one year old. But, something I've noticed is that bees have really cool patterns and the contrast of the bright yellow and the dark black in they're skin could make a cool photo. And if they're pollenating, you could capture the flower in the backround of the photo (like in the picture above).

#5: Bears

Last on my list are bears. Yet another creature that can kill you in less than a minute, especially when they're mad, so I would keep my distance. But, oddly enough, I've always been interested in bears. I think it was that Disney Channel movies, "Brother Bear" and "The Jungle Book" I watched when I was little. As you can see in the picture above, they kind of have human-like qualities. And getting action shots like when they're in the river hunting for fish and adult bears interacting with they're young. There are a lot of different, interesting photos that you could take of bears.
