If I Were a Color

I think if I were a color, I think would be an emerald green. Not only because it is my birthstone, but because of what the color green represents.
I was born on May 31, 1999, which means I'm a gemini and my birthstone is an emerald. This color represents balance, harmony, hope and growth. It's also an overall positve color, which is what I try to be. Green symbolizes people who are practical and aim for a more balanced life, which makes them anxious at times, which describes me perfectly. I often stirve for success which in turn can be very stressful.
People who like the color green wear their heart on their sleeves and have very high morals and goals in life. Also, people who like green tend to put themselves in other people's shoes and seem to be look more at the good in things than dwell on the bad stuff. They also feel the need for change and can't stay doing only one thing for too long or else they get bored. A lot of things that the color green represents describe me to a tee, which is why I think if I were a color, I would be emerald green.
I would fit these specific attributes into making my selfies better by, obviously, incorporating more green into some of my pictures. Maybe having a green backround, like grass or a green backdrop. Green is also a very nature oriented color. I could base my selfies mostly outside so I could have plants and trees in the backround. Also, I could have my actual focal point be green or have splashes of green within it.
Green can also affect your mood. The color can make you happier and more positive, so I would try and make my pictures make people feel have and have uplifting photos. The particular shade of emerald green is representative of creative ideas. So I would try and make my selfies and all pictures more thoughtful and creative. Maybe thinking out a plan of what I want out of a picture before going out to shoot by writing ideas down and looking for inspiration. I could also use inspiration from phrases that involve green like "green with envy" or " the grass is greener" by taking pictures that represent them literally or figuratively.
I don't always have to incorporate the color green in all my pictures though. Because green is often associated with relaxtion, I could try and make my selfies less busy and have more calming, subtle colors like more pastels and soft shades. Then, going back to the idea of mood, I can take pictures of things that have brighter colors in them or use color enhancing filters to make my selfies and photos have a happier look.
There are a lot of ways that I haven't thought about that I now see can help me improve my pictures. Using different colors, brightness and taking the use of emotion into consideration.
